The European Cancer Community Foundation was in the spotlight at the European Cancer Summit 2025, contributing to discussions on the future of cancer care and workforce sustainability across Europe and how the Foundation can contribute to both.

In a dedicated panel, Founder and Chair Andreas Charalambous, highlighted the Foundation’s role in supporting practical initiatives that address inequalities in cancer care and strengthen the oncology workforce.

We also learned of the latest recipients of the European Cancer Workforce Grants and the Rising Star Grants, recognising projects and early-career professionals working to improve cancer care delivery, research, and working conditions across Europe.

This session also included updates on the Foundation’s activities over the past year, including our recent awareness and promotional efforts, and its continued commitment to supporting healthcare professionals, researchers, patients, survivors, and caregivers.
