Transparency and Accountability
We are committed to keeping donors informed about the impact of their contributions. Our financial statements will be available for scrutiny and will undergo regular, independent audits to ensure they are used responsibly.
Clear application criteria and deadlines will be published. The Foundation’s Board (see below) will decide on each submission, announce the grants awarded, and provide feedback to unsuccessful applicants.
Efficiency and Effectiveness
We will conduct rigorous assessments of potential grantees to ensure that funds are directed towards projects and organisations with the highest potential for meaningful impact. We support innovative approaches, research advancements, and initiatives that address unmet needs, leading to better cancer care. And because we use the existing staff and facilities of the European Cancer Organisation, overhead is minimal, allowing deserving projects to receive far more of the proceeds.

We recognise the invaluable work being done by smaller, effective projects and organisations across Europe. These often face challenges in accessing funding and resources. By partnering with the European Cancer Community Foundation, you bolster these efforts, amplifying their impact and enabling them to reach more individuals in need.
