The European Cancer Community Foundation’s new Advisory Group met for the first time this month, led by the foundation’s chair, Prof. Andreas Charalambous. The Advisory Group will provide strategic guidance, leveraging networks and supporting fundraising efforts.

The Foundation is dedicated to saving lives and improving the well-being of all those touched by cancer.

Members of the Advisory Group, all volunteers, include:

• Patrick Bontinck – CEO, Visit.Brussels
• Thomas Gelin – Executive Director, International Affairs, EFPIA
• Penilla Gunther – Member, EU Cancer Mission Board
• Waldemar Jakunin – Engineer at Porsche AG, Cancer Survivor
• Mike Morrissey – MSD Associate Vice President, Global Public Policy, Europe & Canada Hub Leader, and former CEO European Cancer Organisation
• Tom Parker – Former Chairman, Cambre & Former President, British Chamber of Commerce in EU
• Paul Singh – Founder, EEDN
• Stephen Taylor – Vice President of Business Development (Europe/Global), Konovo
